Job Summary:
An exciting time to join Charton Hobbs and play a central role in the next chapter of Moët Hennessy development in Canada. The position is essential to the delivery of Charton Hobbs Ontario sales target through adequate planning and stock level monitoring. You will also be responsible for providing insightful sales and price analysis to the Provincial Sales / Marketing teams. Finally, you will be our key point of contact with the LCBO for Supply Chain, Sales Planning / Forecasting and Pricing topics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Based in Mississauga, Charton Hobbs office, the Ontario Commercial Analyst (Moët Hennessy Portfolio) reports to the Vice President Eastern Canada.
FORECASTING AND DEMAND PLANNING
- Lead Demand Planning for MH Brands in Ontario: support sales and marketing teams to regularly update sales forecast, assess replenishment needed by Liquor Boards to maintain optimal in-market stock level, consolidate sales to provide monthly update of shipments rolling forecast, follow OTIF (on time in full) performance
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings for the Province
- Manage Product Allocations: regularly liaise with Liquor Boards Supply Chain to phase shipments, propose strategy to maintain stock all year long
- Monitor and secure Vintage / End of Year / one-off / consignment / private import orders
- Ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time
ANALYTICIAL SUPPORT
- Control Sales Performance: track sales performance in the Province, provide insights and analysis to explain variances and efficiency of promotional activity, control SFA
- Build Monthly Commercial Report and Presentations for Business Reviews
- Monitor Competition
- Provide insights and identify business opportunities through data analysis
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Manage POs (Prices, availability, shipping dates, quantities, allocations, etc.) in liaison with MH Customer Service teams and Liquor Boards
- Lead Pricing: calculate and simulate shelf prices, prepare and submit pricing letters, monitor competition
- Other occasional administrative tasks: NISS (new item submission system - LCBO), tenders, trade agreement letters, packaging compliance issues, follow up on Liquor Boards payment delays

- Internal: Vice President Eastern Canada, Ontario Sales Manager, Regional Marketing Team, National MH Finance & Operations Director, National MH Demand Planner, MH National Supply Chain Specialist
- External: Liquor Boards Supply Chain and Category, MH Customer Service teams
Job Requirements:
- Education: Graduate degree in Operations and Logistics
- 2+ years successful experience in a commercial support or planning and analysis role
- Knowledge and / or experience of Wine & Spirits Business is considered as an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English, French a plus
- Customer service oriented, analytical and commercial mindset, team player, autonomous, ability to multitask
- Creativity and capacity to adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
