With a focus on quality and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Consignment Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about the alcohol industry, combining consignment sales expertise with a commission-based compensation structure.

Position Summary: As a Consignment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for establishing and managing consignment partnerships with On-Premise, Private Clients, and other relevant establishments. Your primary goal is to drive sales, increase market share, and promote our premium wines and spirits portfolio. This role provides an exciting platform for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in achieving consignment sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Consignment Partner Acquisition: Identify and secure consignment partnerships with On-Premise, Private Clients, and other establishments to showcase and sell our premium wines and spirits portfolio.
  2. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with consignment partners, ensuring their satisfaction and commitment to promoting our products.
  3. Sales Target Achievement: Develop and implement effective consignment sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on both volume and revenue, increasing market share and revenue.
  4. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our wines and spirits portfolio, including key selling points and benefits, to effectively communicate with consignment partners.
  5. Promotion and Merchandising: Collaborate with consignment partners on promotional activities and merchandising to maximize product visibility and drive sales.
  6. Order Processing: Facilitate order processing and ensure accurate and timely delivery of consignment products to partners.
  7. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation.
  8. Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and agreements that align with company objectives.
  9. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in consignment sales, preferably within the beverage-alcohol industry.
  2. Strong understanding of distribution channels and client networks in the beverage-alcohol sector.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  6. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation: This is a base plus commission-based position offering a performance-driven compensation structure. This position requires flexible hours and will sometimes require evenings and weekends with Trade Shows, Supplier Dinners/Events outside of regular workdays. Medical, dental, RRSP and other benefits after a qualifying period, including a car allowance, travel and expense account.
