Responsibilities:

• Perform general labour tasks such as material handling, equipment operation, and site clean-up.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with construction duties, including building, framing, and site preparation.
• Operate basic power tools and equipment as needed for site tasks.
• Support the set-up and breakdown of job sites, ensuring tools and materials are organized and properly maintained.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Prepare for future advancement by learning site management tasks, safety enforcement, and team coordination in preparation for a Labour Foreman role.

Qualifications & Must-Haves:

• Previous experience in construction, general labour, or skilled trades.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following both verbal and written instructions.
• Physical stamina for lifting, carrying, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Personal protective equipment: hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and steel-toed boots.

Nice to Haves (But Not Required):

• Experience operating equipment, such as forklifts, skid steers, or other construction machinery.
• Knowledge of construction drawings and the ability to assist in site layout and measurements.
• Leadership experience or strong interest in taking on leadership roles in future.
• Tickets or certifications in Fall Protection, First Aid, WHMIS, or other construction safety standards.
• Experience supervising teams or coordinating tasks on-site, even if in smaller projects.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
• Living in Vancouver, Lower Mainland, or nearby.
