Your role will be to help our clients remain in their homes while dealing with chronic conditions, aging gracefully, or dealing with medical recovery, assisting them with any aspects of their activities of daily living that is challenging for them.

Responsibilities & Primary Duties
- Provide personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene and toileting; helping with dressing, grooming
- Able to assist clients with standing, walking, sitting and rolling in bed
- Perform manual (1 person assist) and /or operate mechanical lifts. (Hoyer, Nolan, Arjo, Medi-stand, etc.)
- Provides cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the client.
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Meal preparation, healthy, nutritious meals
- Elderly care and persons with disabilities
Secondary Duties
- Housekeeping duties which could include the following duties: cleaning bathrooms (including toilets and tubs/shower stalls), vacuuming, washing floors, windows, dusting, kitchen surfaces, watering plants, pet care (water and feed), washing dishes before and after meal prep.
- Provide travel assistance with private clients (drive in your vehicle or client's vehicle)
Qualifications and Skills
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or approved equivalent is preferred
- A solid knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of community healthcare and the delivery of personal care service to clients
- Currently enrolled or graduate from nursing program is preferred
- Life skills (for example caring for a loved one) are applicable
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Be available to work every other weekend and minimum one evening shift a week overnights.
- Demonstrated ability to follow English written and verbal instructions as related to client care
- First Aid & CPR certificate

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
