WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
The Snowmaking department is primarily responsible for providing the snow base for the timely opening and operation of the Resort's skiable terrain for the ultimate ski and snowboard experience.
- All duties of a Maintenance Worker I, Snowmaking
- Monitor snowmaking equipment: starting/stopping of pumps, air compressors and snow guns.
- Monitoring control center, updating and making changes as necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance work on the snowmaking system.
- Assist with leak repairs in season
- Installing new hydrant locations
- Adjusting snow guns.
- Trouble Shoot electrical and mechanical issues.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Prior heavy equipment experience preferred.
- Previous welding and fitting experience an asset
- Past experience with operation of a snowmobile preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be over the age of 18 with a valid class "G" driver's license with satisfactory driver abstract
- Ability to work independently
- Prepared to work in all outdoor conditions
- Must be detail oriented and safety conscious
