ABOUT THE NEWLY INSTITUTE
The Newly Institute was founded to provide long-lasting change within the mental health industry, our community, and with our clients. We are leading a paradigm shift in the Canadian healthcare system by building a network of purpose-built mental health clinics across Canada. By fusing a bio-psycho-social-spiritual treatment model with medically managed therapies, our intensive outpatient programs provide rapid access, rapid resolution, rapid return to work, and healthy lifestyle programs for anxiety, depression, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, and chronic pain.
The Newly Institute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Psychologist to join our new Halifax clinic. Our mission is to provide exceptional mental health care using evidence-based practices while maintaining a work environment that prioritizes clinician well-being and professional development.
WHY JOIN THE NEWLY INSTITUTE?
At The Newly Institute, we understand that clinicians perform best when they are supported in a thoughtful and structured environment. Our operational processes are designed to empower clinicians to deliver best practice care, without compromising their own health and professional growth. Here's how we do it:
- Sustainable Caseload: Clinicians are scheduled to see no more than four clients daily, ensuring ample time for high-quality care.
- Buffer Time: We provide scheduled buffer time between clients, allowing space for reflection, notes, and self-care.
- Monthly Self-Care and Check-ins: Regular one-on-one and group check-ins foster a supportive community, ensuring clinicians have the resources they need.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Participate in monthly in-services and access various educational opportunities to stay at the forefront of your field.
- Collaborative, Interdisciplinary Teams: We hold weekly interdisciplinary team meetings, where clinicians collaborate to refine treatment plans and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Industry-Leading Compensation Package: We offer a highly competitive compensation package that reflects your expertise and leadership role, ensuring both financial and personal rewards.
