POSITION
Mission:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Regional Manager to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial skills capable of leading the Ontario business and marketing for Moet Hennessy. This role combines Key Account Management of the LCBO and key On Premise Partners, to drive regional business growth and in addition, the strategy and leadership of the marketing team in the Province. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic marketing acumen, leadership and key account management skills. This position requires a close collaboration with the Ontario sales team to ensure an efficient execution of the programs, to drive marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with commercial goals - as well as with the National Marketing & Communication team, and the National F&OP team.
The Senior Regional Manager manages a team of 4 people and is based in the Charton Hobbs Mississauga office (ON) and will report to both the VP for Eastern Canada (based in Ontario) and the Moet Hennessy Customer Marketing Director (based in Montreal). This dual reporting structure will ensure that the role has the maximum support and collaboration and to ensure a coordinated approach to both commercial and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
Please note that some levels of domestic and international travel are incumbent with this position; valid passport required.
COMMERCIAL LEADERSHIP :
- Lead the commercial strategy for MH brands in Ontario
- Lead the relationship between Moet Hennessy and the LCBO
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both the LCBO and key On Premise accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Develop account/channel-specific marketing plans to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to address client needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and present annual Joint Collaborative Business Plans to Key Accounts in region.
- Prepare regular reports and lead meetings for senior management on key account status, event outcomes, and marketing effectiveness.
- Own the commercial forecast and investment budgets for the Moet Hennessy portfolio for Ontario, in collaboration with the VP
TEAM LEADERSHIP:
- Lead and mentor the regional Ontario Moët Hennessy marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Act as a coach to the team and ensure that they are challenged, supported, and developed in line with the MH values.
- Provide guidance on project management, marketing tactics, and professional development.
- Set clear objectives and performance metrics for team members and conduct annual evaluations.
BUSINESS KPI's MONITORING
- Lead and coordinate the strategy for commercial and brand KPI's within Ontario, including Pricing, Promotion, Distribution and brand marketing investments.
- Analyze on a monthly basis the market (brand performance, competition, listing gaps, rate of sales etc.) and come with recommendations to develop MH portfolio, with the support of the regional commercial analyst;
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize brand performance and adjust marketing strategies as necessary;
- Fill monthly performance tracker, providing insights and key actions to mitigate the gaps;
- Come with recommendations in terms of pricing and portfolio assortment that would be relevant to the province
BRAND AND CUSTOMER PLAN LEADERSHIP
- Lead the Regional Marketing Managers (RMMs), commercial analyst and collaborate with the regional sales team and the National team to develop innovative, elevated and best-in-class regional and customer plans based on regional data and market condition, within the defined A&P budgets to deliver against brand and commercial KPI's.
- Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of current plans and identify opportunities for improvement.
BRAND ACTIVATIONS / PROGRAM PLANNING & REPORTING:
- Lead and coach the Regional Marketing & Event team and ensure that brand programming is executed to the required standard across the market in line with A&P budgets.
- Compile and present regional recommendations on BBOs (brand building offers) for portfolio approval, including analysis of market trends and performance data.
- Support the regional team in the tracking and reporting on regional marketing and trade marketing performance metric and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regional marketing efforts are efficient and they align with overall commercial goals.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
- Review and approve regional spending plans for brands, ensuring they align with overall marketing strategies and budget constraints.
- Ensure funds are allocated effectively to various marketing & commercial activities and adjust budgets as necessary to respond to changing needs or opportunities.

Technical & management skills:
- Very organized, structured and methodological approach, able to meet tight deadlines,
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively,
- Experience in Negotiating complex commercial plans with large customers,
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data analysis tools,
- Experience of Key Account Management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships, and to interact at senior level in large corporations,
- Project management skills with attention to detail,
- Strong understanding of trade marketing principles and best practices,
- Digital savvy & perfect knowledge of Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel)

Other:
- Bachelor degree or higher, Marketing, Business Administration or related majors preferred
- 7 years of experience in marketing, key account management, or a related role – preferably within a fast moving CPG company or luxury company;
- Previous experience of team leadership;
- Established trade contacts both on and off premises is a plus;
- Valid Driver's License
