The City of Beaumont invites you to serve on the Beaumont Public Library Board. There will be 2 vacancies as of December 31, 2024.
Jurisdiction
City of Beaumont Library Board Bylaw 1005-21
Mandate
The Board has full management and control of the Municipal Library and will promote and maintain library services for the municipality. For more information view the Beaumont Municipal Library Site.
Membership & Term
The Board shall consist of 8 members appointed by Council, 6 Public Members, 1 Council Member. Public Member positions are held for a term of three-years. Must be a Beaumont resident or Leduc County resident, but only two Leduc County residents can serve at the same time.
Meeting Time
Meetings are held monthly, typically on the second Monday of the month at 7:00pm with a minimum of 10 meetings held each year.
Remuneration
NIL. This is a volunteer position.
