They are seeking a skilled Hydraulics Technician with electrical knowledge to support their growing operations.

Job Description:

As a Hydraulics Mechanic, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic systems on various heavy equipment. Your role will also require a basic understanding of electrical systems to effectively troubleshoot and support the equipment's operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and install hydraulic systems for heavy equipment according to specifications and requirements.

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic systems of heavy equipment.

  • Inspect and test hydraulic systems to identify malfunctions using diagnostic equipment.

  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of hydraulic components.

  • Utilize basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical components related to hydraulic systems.

  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service and repair work performed.

  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in hydraulics or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hydraulics Technician or in a similar role.

  • Experience in building hydraulic systems for heavy equipment is highly desirable.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid driver's license.
