Our client, a fast-growing Series A SaaS company supporting small businesses and startups, has been recognized by several media outlets as one to watch in Toronto's startup scene. We're currently looking for a Director of Sales to join their GTM team.
- Reporting to the CEO
- Build the sales playbook and enhance the GTM strategy
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes that align with company goals and objectives
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing guidance and support to ensure team success
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, product and revenue operations
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for the sales team.
- Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reporting to senior management
Requirements
- Must be willing to be on-site 5 days a week (office is Downtown Toronto)
- Previous experience leading (with title) at a high-growth startup
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Strategic thinker with a focus on results and customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
