(this is an onsite opportunity based in downtown Toronto)
Our client, a fast-growing Series A SaaS company supporting small businesses and startups, has been recognized by several media outlets as one to watch in Toronto's startup scene. We're currently looking for a Director of Sales to join their GTM team.
  • Reporting to the CEO
  • Build the sales playbook and enhance the GTM strategy
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and processes that align with company goals and objectives
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing guidance and support to ensure team success
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, product and revenue operations
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for the sales team.
  • Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reporting to senior management

Requirements
  • Must be willing to be on-site 5 days a week (office is Downtown Toronto)
  • Previous experience leading (with title) at a high-growth startup
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
