The Position:

Summit Search Grouphas been engaged by a Manitoba Leader in Agriculture on the recruitment of their next Sales Specialist. As the Sales Specialist Agriculture, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our clients agricultural products and services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, agronomists, and other key stakeholders in the agriculture industry.

Your expertise in agricultural practices, combined with your ability to identify and address customer needs, will enable you to provide tailored solutions that optimize farm profitability. If you are passionate about agriculture and have a proven track record in sales, we invite you to join our clients team and contribute to the growth and sustainability of their customers businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with our existing producers while sparking new ones with potential clients through strategic farm visits and engaging sales calls.
  • Drive sales growth with your innovative strategies, supporting the expansion of our clients market presence.
  • Lead and participate in Producer Meetings & Field Days, creating a community of informed and enthusiastic partners.
  • Work alongside your fellow team members to forecast sales and develop strategies that translate into record-setting growth.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field is ideal, but what really matters is your need and ability to make a significant impact.
  • 2+ years experience in a related sales role.
  • Experience in precision agriculture is an asset, but were more interested in your drive and capability to learn and adapt.
