Position Overview:

The Junior Financial Advisor position at Primerica is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to start their career in financial advising. This role involves assisting senior advisors, building client relationships, and gaining knowledge in various financial products and services offered by Primerica. The Junior Financial Advisor will receive training and support to develop their skills in financial planning, insurance, investments, and retirement planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Assist senior advisors in managing client relationships, preparing for client meetings, and conducting follow-up communication.
  • Financial Planning: Learn and assist in developing comprehensive financial plans for clients, including budgeting, retirement planning, insurance, and investments.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain an in-depth understanding of Primerica's financial products, such as life insurance, mutual funds, annuities, and other investment options.
  • Sales Support: Support sales efforts by preparing presentations, reports, and marketing materials, as well as participating in client meetings and seminars.
  • Compliance: Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and financial planning skills.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about financial markets, trends, and news to provide relevant advice to clients.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred but not required.
  • Licensing: Have passed LLQP exam.
  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service, sales, or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Basic understanding of financial concepts and products.
