Junior Accountant / Accountant

The Opportunity:

We are looking for Experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The position will be open to recent University / College graduates with an emphasis in accounting as well as more seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting with or working towards your CPA.

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

• Experience with Jonas construction software or similar accounting software is an asset.
• Excellent MS Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

• Organization Skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and self motivated.

Job Duties

• Coordinate and process weekly payroll
• Manage accounting transactions.
• Update and report on accounts receivable
• Update and report on accounts payable.
• Reconcile ledgers monthly and quarterly.
• Assist with month and year-end closing.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements.
• Other duties as assigned.
