Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Cambridge, ON

Wage: $35 - $45 hourly DOE

Experience & Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Heavy industrial / manufacturing work experience as a maintenance mechanic
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
• Welding, fabrication and electrical knowledge would be an advantage
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals and parts catalogs
• Relevant trade ticket / training would be a strong asset
• 3 + years in a related role in an industrial environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Responsible, professional and reliable

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Troubleshoot conveyor systems, mixers, forms, and equipment through out the plant
• Inspect, identify, and repair equipment and machinery breakdowns
• Work collaboratively to troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned
