Experience & Qualifications:

• Journeyman Millwright / Industrial Mechanic
• Heavy industrial / manufacturing work experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 3 + years in a maintenance leadership role
• Ability to coach and offer hands on technical support to maintenance team when needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• A leader of yourself and others

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations with respect to the health and safety of employees and site contractors
• Troubleshoot equipment, diagnose technical issues, implement corrective solutions
• Offer leadership, coaching and technical support to maintenance team
• Identify opportunities for improvement of operating efficiencies in the maintenance department
• Continuous improvement of processes and PM tasks to up level the department
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance that minimizes downtime
• Manage work orders and computerized maintenance management system
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies
• Perform other related duties as assigned
