Location: Various locations across British Columbia
As a Health Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of healthcare services within an organization. Your leadership will be vital in ensuring efficient operations, high-quality patient care, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services.
  • Manage daily operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal service delivery.
  • Analyze performance metrics and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management for healthcare services, including monitoring expenditures and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between management, healthcare providers, and patients to address concerns and enhance communication

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare management, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve services.
  • Proficient in healthcare management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
