Central Interior Native Health Society (CINHS) is an innovative primary health care (PHC) center located in Prince George, British Columbia, on the unceded traditional territories of the Dakelh people. Founded on Aboriginal leadership and community-based advocacy, the CINHS was founded in 1991 to meet the unique health needs of the Indigenous population of Prince George. CINHS' core values are: respect honesty, trust, humour and compassion.

We are seeking motivated Nurses with a dedication for delivering trauma-informed, culturally safe patient care to some of our most vulnerable community members to join our team.

Qualifications:
 Valid registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

 Experience in community health, public health and/or primary care and experience with prenatal and child/youth population, or any combination of these are valuable assets
 Certification in OAT, STI and Birth Control or commitment to achieve these within 1 year
 Ability to approach health care through an Indigenous world view which begins with respect for persons
 Experience providing culturally sensitive and supportive nursing care providing client and family centered care
 Experience working with clients living with mental health and substance use disorders
 Ability to work without direct supervision in a variety of clinical settings

Assets:
 Mentoring, leadership and/or education and experience
 Experience with opioid agonist therapy, mental health and prenatal care
 Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use for outreach services
