Pacific Fertility is hiring a full-time Andrologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist for our Burnaby clinic.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide patient-centered care
• Strong communication skills
• Patient advocacy
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic andrology procedures including semen analysis, sperm washes for intrauterine inseminations, sperm washes for IVF, trial wash, semen cryopreservation/thaw, and preparation of donor specimens for donor insemination
• All scientists must possess thorough knowledge of the principles and practice of laboratory sterile technique and have meticulous attention to detail.
• Motivated and a self-starter
• Adaptability in changing environments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (CSMLS)
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred but not required
• CFAS Andrologist Certification is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify and successfully demonstrate and realize company goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate innovative, analytical abilities, and exceptional communication skills to deliver excellent patient care
