About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Salesforce, the Salesforce Administrator will play a pivotal role in advancing the development, training, and adoption of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving processes and driving user adoption within Salesforce. This role will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and improving the Salesforce platform, including user training and support, security, reporting, data hygiene, and business process automation. As a key member of our dedicated team, the Salesforce Administrator will serve as a primary contact for all Salesforce-related initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide daily administration and support including user setup, profiles, permission sets, public groups, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Resolve user issues promptly ensuring continuous system uptime and a positive user experience.
  • Create engaging, user-friendly knowledge articles and videos that promote user adoption and reinforce best practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate one-on-one and group training sessions tailored to individual user needs, improving their proficiency and confidence with the platform.
  • Partner with the organization's cross-functional stakeholders to understand, document, and translate user requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design, test, and implement robust solutions to satisfy business requirements leveraging Salesforce's declarative tools including objects, fields, record types, flow, validation rules, etc.
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure continuous improvement and support of integrated applications and services.
  • Perform batch data uploads, including thorough data preparation and cleansing, to ensure data hygiene and accurate integration of external data sources.
  • Balance multiple projects while ensuring consistent communication with stakeholders and timely completion of projects.
  • Stay informed about new Salesforce releases and related technologies, proactively recommending enhancements to improve productivity, system maintenance, and data integrity best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
  • Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Consultant certifications are an asset.
  • Experience with NPSP, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Conga Composer/Batch, Data Loader, Visualforce, Apex, or advanced Excel are an asset.
  • Proficient in designing and delivering both individual and group training sessions.
  • Proven ability of translating complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for various stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-driven, effective in working independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Critical thinker adept in solving complex problems.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Classification: Full-time, Permanent

*This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 4. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
