Job Description

As a vital leader at our plant, the Production Supervisor, reporting to the Production Manager, is the driving force behind the success of their shift. You'll be at the helm, steering production, workforce development, and operational planning. Your mission? To energize the team, uphold safety, and hit every production target with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate Plant Operations: Lead the charge on your shift

  • Troubleshoot & Innovate: Keep equipment running flawlessly while identifying challenges before they become issues.

  • Uphold Safety Standards: Enforce all SOPs and safety protocols to maintain an environment where everyone thrives.

  • Optimize Daily Operations: Own production planning, staffing, and troubleshooting to keep operations smooth and cost-effective. Track KPIs to stay ahead.

  • Develop Your Team: Help recruit, train, and mentor employees, fostering growth and creating new opportunities for team development.

  • Resolve Challenges: Be the go-to problem solver for any personnel or operational issue, providing ethical and actionable solutions.

Qualifications
  • At least 2+ years of work experience as Supervisor/ Leader in a production/ manufacturing environment (Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the industry).
  • High School Diploma required - a Bachelor's degree in business management or related discipline preferred.
  • Excellent proven leadership and change management skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility to develop and maintain excellent business relations both internally and externally.
  • Mechanically inclined with excellent trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong abilities in planning, organizing, project management, and problem solving;
  • Able to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience with of Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems;
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

Additional Information

The chosen individual will need to work during the week before the weekend shift starts in 2025.
