Job Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION HAS A FIXED SHIFT (TUESDAY TO SATURDAY).

Tuesday to Friday (8:30 am to 5:00 pm) Saturday (8:00 am to noon)

The receptionist handles all aspects of paperwork including:

- Cash sale transactions

- Banking and report reconciliation and vendor payables issues.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist in servicing customers including answering phones

· Reconciled reports

· Reconcile daily cash transactions payments.

· Investigate, resolve, and respond to all customer, vendor, credit and head office inquiries in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers' expectations

· Reconcile petty cash and cash sheets daily

· Understand and follow all safety regulations

· Support all organization activities as part of the team

Qualifications

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset

· A minimum of 4 year of experience with customer service, y/or 1 year of accounts payable or accounts receivable.

· Knowledge of basic accounts receivable/payable bookkeeping practices and terms

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software

· Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Ability to prioritize work projects and multitask

· Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders, Infor is an asset.

· Intermediate math skills
