We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you'll be our first dedicated DevOps professional and will have the opportunity to make an impact on the way we manage deployments.

A day in the life as a DevOps Engineer:

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and build systems to support seamless software delivery

• Deploy and manage infrastructure across development and production environments, with an emphasis on automation and scalability

• Design and develop deployment automation and validation tools across the entire software stack

• Troubleshoot source code management and deployment issues

• Perform security, performance, and availability assessments

• Contribute to our QA process by supporting the deployment and development of automated testing environments and tools, resulting in higher quality releases

• Configure and maintain Linux servers, containers, and services in the cloud

• Document system configurations and procedures comprehensively

If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:

• I have knowledge of DevOps, security, and systems administration

• I gained my knowledge through a combination of formal education and 3+ years of direct professional experience

• I have experience in the software as a service industry

• I have strong experience with both Docker (extra points for Kubernetes)

• I'm familiar with GitHub actions or Jenkins pipelines

• I am very comfortable in Linux environments and have working knowledge of Bash

• I have baseline knowledge of networking; bonus points if I have experience as a Systems or Network Administrator

• I'm willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA (and Vietnam if required for role).

• I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate

• I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills
