Our award-winning team is growing, and DF Architecture is hiring a Senior/Intermediate Architectural Technologist to be based out of our Richmond office.
DF Architecture Inc is part of Group 161 which represents a diverse group of companies including Atelier Pacific Architecture, Barnett Dembek Architecture and DF Architecture.
DF Architecture offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and continued professional development. We are a young, design-oriented firm specializing in residential, mixed-use, commercial, and civic buildings. We are currently working on large scale projects including wood-frame multi family to residential high-rise projects. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team.


About the Position:
We are seeking a Senior/Intermediate Architectural Technologist that must be registered with the AIBC, or be eligible to register with the AIBC.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years BC experience, including comprehensive knowledge of wood-frame construction;
  • Strong design abilities;
  • Thorough understanding of the BCBC and VBBL;
  • Fluency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, as well as Sketchup;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with preparation of Development Permits, Building Permits and Construction drawings;
  • Experience working directly with clients and consultant coordination;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
  • Experience with Construction Administration.
