Position Overview:
By taking ownership of term renewals this incumbent will assist our members build a customized financial wellness plan that serves them now and into their future. The incumbent will assist the MSOW2s, build YCU's profile in the community as a professional and preferred provider of wealth management products, services, and expertise, leading to new wealth management customers and banking relationships.
Job Specifications:
· Proven networking, relationship building, client acquisition and asset gathering abilities.
· Must have proven experience building Financial Wellness, specifically MFDA, portfolios.
· Working knowledge of the investment industry and products
· Accomplished expert user of software programs (RFS and CRM for example) to maximize time management, and the member experience.
· Must have demonstrated service abilities and be able to ensure that members have the proper financial tools that fit their current financial journey needs. This will include but is not limited to asking for the business, as appropriate.
· Must be flexible, and prepared to work hours established to meet member service demands in a timely manner.
· Demonstrate professionalism in dress, tone, flexibility, and communication always.
· Must be able to work well with a minimum of supervision and able to organize and effectively manage priorities and deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales
Analytical skills that take into account the big picture of our members' whole wealth portfolio, when to refer, when to amalgamate the portfolio.
· Business development activities through outbound calls, networking and other sales opportunities.
· Build Member Relationships and is Member Focused. Creates and establishes trust by building relationships and actively discovers the right investment solutions for Members.
· Decision Quality – Understands the Member's best interest is first; understands that this may not always be the same as what the members ask for; demonstrates decisions which are based on creating the best possible outcome for the member; makes decisions based on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
· Identifies referral opportunities, completes required documentation for tracking purposes/follow-up and directs members to the MSOW2.
· Offers and refers/enrolls members with investments, services and mutual funds, that fit with their journey towards financial wellness.
· Consistently meet standards for member loyalty, observations, development plan action items, and one on one coaching sessions.
· Active contributor in activities that promote member financial wellness.
Service
· Term renewal and best next steps based on current wellness state.
· Answering members inquiries related to term deposits, investment options and making referrals accordingly.
· Keeps CRM update to consistently facilitate the best and most appropriate solutions for our members.
· Consistently builds rapport, ask questions to uncover needs, research details available, to help recommend solutions, educate our members about our convenient service options and make appropriate recommendations.
· Converts all points of contact into relationship banking. Uses CRM to prompt member milestones, new baby, new car, university education etc
