We're looking for a multi-talented leadership executive to join our highly ambitious team to take our business to the next level and assume the position of President and CEO. THE OPPORTUNITY

As the President, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and driving the overall growth and success of the company. This role requires a retail executive with a deep understanding of technology-focused retail operations, the ability to thrive in a high-growth entrepreneurial environment, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. You also need to know retail from the ground up and be a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of leader since you will be required to wear many hats as we build the business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Strategic Leadership: Execute on the company's long-term vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives, particularly in enhancing digital transformation. Some deliverables would include identifying growth and expansion opportunities (including M&A), and banner strategies for subsidiary businesses.

Marketing & Sales: Develop and implement data-driven marketing and sales strategies specifically designed to accelerate growth in eCommerce. Focus on expanding market share, driving customer engagement, and strengthening brand loyalty across all digital platforms. Optimize the online customer journey through personalized content, targeted campaigns, and conversion rate enhancements. Collaborate with product, IT, and digital teams to ensure seamless user experiences, from mobile and web to social commerce. Drive omnichannel strategies to integrate eCommerce with retail touchpoints, maximizing customer retention and boosting long-term revenue growth

Change Management: Transform our eCommerce-focused order-taking culture into a dynamic, proactive sales and customer service organization. Shift the mindset from transactional to relationship-driven by empowering the team to act as consultative sellers who deeply understand customer needs. Align the team with the company's mission, vision, and values to ensure a consistent brand experience across all digital touchpoints. Leverage advanced eCommerce tools, such as AI-driven chatbots, CRM systems, and personalized customer journeys, to elevate customer interactions. Foster a culture of continuous learning with a focus on upselling, cross-selling, and improving the overall customer experience, turning every interaction into an opportunity to drive sales growth and build long-term brand loyalty.

Operations & Financial Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring department managers are accountable for hitting performance targets and delivering results. Set clear KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and provide actionable feedback to optimize efficiency. Foster cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience, while empowering managers with the tools and resources needed for success. Maintain strong financial oversight, managing budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure operational activities align with financial objectives. Continuously seek opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and drive profitability while ensuring high levels of operational excellence.

Innovation & Technology: Champion innovative technologies and retail models to keep the company competitive in the evolving retail landscape, with a strong focus on eCommerce. Leverage data analytics, AI, and automation to enhance online customer experiences, streamline eCommerce operations, and improve decision-making. Embrace emerging trends such as omnichannel retailing, mobile commerce, and personalized online shopping experiences to stay ahead of market shifts. Foster a culture of continuous innovation, encouraging the exploration of new eCommerce tools, platforms, and retail strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and long-term success in the digital marketplace.

Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, business partners, and other stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably within the retail industry, with a strong focus on e-commerce and digital strategies.
  • Proven success in managing large teams and leading profitable businesses.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading an omni-channel retail operation and a track record of innovation.
