Job Description

Location: Lacombe, AB

Position Type: Full-time

Hourly Pay Rate- $18.43

Shift: 12 hours shifts 4on 4off, days and nights rotational schedule - Weekdays and Weekends

Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated security guard to join our team in the Lacombe, AB! This role involves providing emergency response dispatching services, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to incidents. If you have a strong knowledge base, excellent computer skills, and thrive in fast-paced environments, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and statutory/religious holidays (mezapa schedule).
• Demonstrate excellent attendance record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security-related experience is an asset.
• Must have a valid Alberta Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities:

• Receive emergency calls and gather necessary information.
• Dispatch the appropriate emergency services to incident locations.
• Transmit information to field personnel via radio or telephone systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all actions taken during emergencies.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and access control alarms.
• Answer routine telephone and radio calls.
• Oversee basic operation and response of security alarm systems.
• Control site access/egress for deliveries and visitors.
