Your Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages, mentors, trains, and provides professional development of team members through the performance management process and informal coaching techniques.
  • Track and maintain compliance with established metrics for team of Credit Specialists
  • Complete established daily, weekly, and monthly statistics and metrics
  • To be respectful, fair, gracious and knowledgeable and to uphold the core values established by OpenRoad.
  • Ensures that individual performance meets or exceeds department standards.
  • Ensures daily activities are completed with team, the Manager will be actively engaged in all concurrent activities within the team.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Financial Services Managers and Sales Managers across the OpenRoad Group in BC and Ontario
  • Working directly with guests to determine financial and credit history
  • Determine guest's vehicle needs and appropriately document them in the CRM
  • Request, review, and submit all required lending documentation to secure a lease or finance approval for guest
  • Locate & present vehicle & finance/lease options as well as applicable extended service contracts/insurances/protection/service packages to the guest
  • Overcome reactions/objections of guests and present them the most beneficial/fitting options
  • Be in compliance with all legal requirements set out by regulatory bodies

What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience working with Prime and Non-Prime Auto Lenders
  • Thorough understanding of credit including credit bureaus and debt servicing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships
  • Well organized and posses strong time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict timelines and work well in a demanding dynamic environment to meet overall objectives
  • Be result focused and detail orientated
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization and guests alike
  • Be or able to become VSA & OMVIC licensed
  • A valid BC Driver's License with a good driving record
