The Product Quality & Applications Technician will play a key role in supporting customers with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of our electric motors and controllers.

This is an in-office position, not remote or hybrid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining detailed familiarity with ASI's Products and Technologies
• Troubleshooting electromechanical systems, including software, mechanical and electrical hardware, finished bikes to identify and remediate issues for customer/field failures as needed.
• Developing internal/external documentation
• customer returned product to identify and remediate issues
• Investigate and document recurring or trending product related issues to provide feedback and recommendations to management
• Initiating RMA's including analysis, testing, reporting to review with Applications leader
• Supporting product warranty program including warranty/RMA replacements, tracking and shipping to respective customers.
• Maintain all updates in Syteline, Excel and Salesforce.
• Maintain updates in Quality database listing all product failure modes and the associated root causes for each.
• Provide any quality or testing support as needed.

• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Technical Degree in electronic technician or similar preferred, other disciplines will be considered.
• 2+ years experience with motor controls
• Relevant experience with light electric vehicles, eBikes, outdoor power equipment or related applications and industries preferred.
• Understanding of basic Quality tools, reporting and analysis for in depth problem solving.

• Hands-on experience with wiring, installation and troubleshooting of electric vehicle control and traction systems.
