Job Title: Business Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid, Downtown Halifax Pay Rates: Up to $40.00 p/h INC.Must haves/ Nice to haves:
Required Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
Required Critical thinking and analytical skills that allow to identify and resolve problems.
Required Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Required Ability to work well in a team environment with independent work assignments.
Required Strong written and oral communication skills
Required Comfortable with technology and willing to do hands-on work.
Preferred Previous experience in the rollout and use of ClinicFlow in Nova Scotia is considered an asset.
Preferred Familiarity with information systems for booking appointments, registration and data capture.
Preferred IIBA certification is an asset. Project Tasks and Deliverables
Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Data Analyst will be responsible to:
Understand and document business requirements, technical requirements, business processes and workflows. Deliverables may be business, process, technology and/or service oriented.
Use the ClinicFlow software to setup booking pages, appointment calendars, user accounts, and manage data quality.
Support the data transfer process and troubleshoot any issues or irregularities.
Work with immunization providers to resolve data irregularities in a timely manner Handle user access setup
Ensure effective communication where agreement or cooperation is required or where there are barriers to understanding.
Coordinate work with other individuals or teams across stakeholder organizations.
Consultant / Department Responsibilities
The consultant will complete and obtain review, approval, and acceptance of all deliverables to ensure a successful engagement.
Project status, progress and issues/risks will be provided by the consultant(s) on a timely basis to the assigned Project Manager for this initiative.
All deliverables are to be submitted in an electronic format (originals and PDFs) where applicable.
All work products will be the property of the Department.
Work activities can be performed remotely however occasional on-site attendance may be required.
Completion each calendar year mandatory DHW Privacy training
Commitment to confidentiality and privacy practices as there may be instances where there is exposure to personal health information.
Consultant will provide personal computer and appropriate accessories for remote work. PHIS will provide credentials to access cloud-based collaboration and office software.
