About You:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to spearhead user research, UX analysis, and user interviews for our scheduling software platform. In this role, you'll drive the design of new features, elevating usability and visual aesthetics to meet the highest standards of user-centered design. Your expertise will play a key role in shaping exceptional user interfaces and experiences, contributing significantly to the evolution of our software platform. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, including usability testing and customer feedback analysis, to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Utilize insights from research to optimize and refine the user experience throughout the product lifecycle (wireframing, prototyping, CJM).
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mock-ups to demonstrate design concepts, and gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users.
  • Integrate designs based on feedback and emerging design trends.
  • Ideate, create, and design visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for our software across various platforms (web, mobile, tablet, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Developers, to gather requirements and translate them into compelling design concepts.
  • Participate in implementation of the UX/UI design strategy and guidelines, ensuring consistency and coherence in design elements and iterations across the software platform.
  • Plan and conduct usability tests and user research to validate design decisions and make data-driven improvements to the user experience.
  • Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines to provide an inclusive and accessible experience for all users.
  • Work closely with the Product Management and Development teams to align designs efforts with product roadmaps and development timelines.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to promote efficient communication and information sharing.
  • Remain up to date with the latest design trends, UX/UI methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Inspire, guide, and support teammates to produce outstanding design outputs that align with business objectives and user requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX and UI design, preferably in the SaaS space, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects emphasizing UX analysis and UX case studies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in conducting comprehensive user research, usability testing, and adeptness in interpreting data to inform and shape design decisions.
  • Ability to utilize user research data to build user interfaces using tools like wireframing, prototyping, customer journey maps, and build and test user flows to ensure optimal user experiences.
  • Proficiency in Figma and industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), or equivalent.
  • Understanding of web and mobile application development technologies, frameworks, guidelines and limitations.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring designs are pixel-perfect and aligned with the brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationales to diverse stakeholders.
  • A creative and innovated mindset with a passion for staying up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience mentoring and leading design teams is a plus.
