Location: Various locations across British Columbia
As a Nurse Manager, you will oversee nursing operations within a healthcare setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing nursing staff, optimizing departmental performance, and fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering a supportive environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee patient care activities, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and the delivery of safe, effective care.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures that promote optimal nursing practices and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Assist in managing departmental budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and controlling costs while maintaining quality care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare leaders and departments to coordinate patient care and improve service delivery.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing performance, patient satisfaction, and overall healthcare quality.
  • Address and resolve conflicts and issues within the nursing team, promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Valid state RN license and current CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in a nursing leadership role, with a strong clinical background.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and foster a culture of excellence in patient care.
