Role: Automation Tester/Test Lead

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid

Mode: Full Time

Job Description :

We are seeking a Automation Tester with the 5+ years of experience.
Must Have :

• Experience Required: 5+ Years.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• English Level Required: B2 level.

What you will do :

• Identify, write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Troubleshoot issues with automation scripts for systems under test.
• Managing the changes and executing regression tests.
• Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process.
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
• Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, test reports and test cases.
• Log, monitor and document bugs in the tracking system.
• Set up Enhance and maintain automated CI flows.

What we're looking for:

Technical Skills:

• At least 5 years of hands-on QA Automation experience with python based frameworks.
• Experience with Robot framework is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with web automation testing library, like Selenium.
• Demonstrated experience with API testing tools: REST Assured, RestSharp, jMeter, etc.
• Extensive experience with CIAD such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Bit bucket.
• Experience with Agile development of distributed services, with a focus on shipping customer-facing features on a regular cadence including, scalability and security.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work in a team.
• Desire to constantly learn new things and improve skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts.
• Strong leadership qualities is a plus.
