One of our automotive clients in Woodbridge, ON is looking for a Material analyst for their tier-1 facility.

- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Manage and monitor MRP processes to ensure timely availability of materials needed for production while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Analyze inventory levels, track demand forecasts, and optimize stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data analytics tools to provide insights on material usage, costs, and production efficiency. Generate and present reports on material performance and stock levels.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in material flow, handling, and storage to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth integration of material management in overall operations.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards related to material handling, storage, and transportation.
- ERP System Management: Utilize ERP systems to track material movements, generate purchase orders, and update stock levels accurately.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification: CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in materials management or supply chain analysis, preferably within the automotive industry.
