Summit Search Group has been engaged by Orenda Farms on the recruitment of their next Heavy Duty Mechanic.

As the Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of heavy equipment and machinery essential to their operations. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is running efficiently to meet production needs. You will play a key role in supporting their farm sourcing and processing activities.The role is based in Woodlands, Manitoba, approximately 45 minutes northwest of Winnipeg.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with agricultural or industrial equipment -- repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of heavy machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally when required.
