TITLE: Labourer

Hours of work: 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday & ½ Day Saturdays

Reports to: Construction Manager and/or Site Supervisor

The following duties will be required to be completed by request of the Construction Manager and/or the Site Supervisor. The duties will vary and change each day. This is a general list of the many jobs you will be expected to be able to perform. The key duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Keep construction site clean and safe. Pick up construction waste and dispose of in appropriate bins
• Ensure the trades clean up after they have completed their work at any job site/house
• Varieties of shoveling tasks which will include digging holes and shoveling snow etc
• Sanding floors, screwing floors etc
• Sweeping garages, floors, patios etc
• Installing temporary guard rails
• Installing patio stones and steps
• Building fences, securing safety fences to keep unauthorized individuals out of construction zone
• Removing concrete forms
• Assisting the trades, ensuring the job site is safe
• Install signage as per sales/marketing
• Pick up supplies, lock up homes at days end
• Folding/laying tarps
