Founded in 1981 to provide consolidation services for both import and export cargo, we have expanded our global network to offer those services worldwide. We are looking for the right individual to develop our business in Quebec and the Maritimes. With offices in Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto we are currently undergoing growth and the opportunities to expand your career at Gillship Navigation are limitless.
This is a hybrid position. Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
You will:
- You are expected to develop your sales leads and provide timely competitive quotes and service information.
- You would have the support of an inside sales team, as well as operations, to provide the services essential to developing business.
- Initiate on-site appointments to meet new business leads as well maintain and manage our current clients.
- You will be focusing on contacting international freight forwarders and customs brokers in Quebec and the Maritimes.
- Identify, contact, and qualify potential customers while building new business relationships with those prospective customers. Implement and maintain a sales pipeline for those prospective customers.
- Maintain exceptional customer service, professionalism, and integrity with existing clients and making connections with industry specialists.
- Attend industry functions to represent Gillship Navigation.
- Complete weekly and monthly sales reports.
You have:
- Confidence in yourself, strong sales tactics, ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Consistently building new business while maintaining those strong customer relationships.
- Strong verbal, written communication skills, as well as interpersonal customer relation skills – must be fluently Bilingual.
- Have adaptability when dealing with challenging circumstances, demands, and last-minute deadlines.
