Responsibilities:
To provide supplemental workforce support for the Mid-Range team for operational and small project related workloads. This includes
Daily support and administration of Mid-Range solutions
Supplemental support on Splunk
Assessing incidents raised that relate to the Mid-Range environment
Review logs from various Mid-Range systems and recommend appropriate actions to remediate any issues or problems found within the logs
Perform required updates and maintenance routines as directed
Document details of system changes
Participate in technical requirements analysis
Lead the analysis and design of system enhancements
Ensure the development of systems documentation and operational procedures
Perform unit, system and performance testing for all system interfaces and enhancements
Provide post-implementation support for any enhancements, as required
Investigate and resolve system problems
Provide support to production systems
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
The resource must be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, the following
skills, activities, or areas. The knowledge and experience must have been gained through work within a team supporting similar systems.
Experience working in a mixed RedHat Linux and Windows environment.
Experience with analysis of business and/or technical requirements.
Experience with systems design..
Experience in investigating and resolving system problems, issue and incident resolution..
Experience in preparing documentation
The resource must be available to start work in accordance with the specified time frame and
have the skills to produce the services requested as detailed within this document.
The resource must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal tactfully with people and have
excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills.
Other application development or system support related tasks as deemed necessary and suitable by the Manager
