We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. This is a critical, high-level position that requires a well-rounded professional who can handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Utilize expertise in QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Order and manage inventory of materials, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for ongoing projects
- Prepare and file GST and PST returns in a timely and accurate manner
- Report on project performance and financials to management
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including invoicing customers, managing contracts, and coordinating office operations
- Adapt to the needs of a small business, which may include diverse tasks such as delivering materials to job sites or assisting with project coordination
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors, ensuring smooth operations and strong relationships
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks and full-cycle accounting
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to wear multiple hats in a small business setting
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
