Dairy Sales Representative
Parrish and Heimbecker Join our team that shares your Passion & Heart for Canadian agriculture! Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Dairy Sales Representative for our New Life Mills division.
This is a remote position with frequent travel in Eastern Ontario. - Expand New Life Mills market share in feed sales by prospecting and developing new customers.
- Promote the programs and services offered by New Life Mills in a manner that highlights the benefits to the producer and work with producers to create viable solutions for their business needs.
- Identify and monitor reoccurrence of business needs to determine trends and rising business opportunities.
- Anticipate future business needs by using proactive measures and fostering and developing customer relationships.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and strategy to meet sales targets.
- Create customer plans, weekly sales plans and efficiently create new weekly call planners and call sheet reports.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and with industry partners.
- Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver's Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.
- Post Secondary Education in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Internal employees applying for this position must notify their current supervisor of their application.
- Agriculture related education or equivalent experience is an asset but not required.
- Self-motivated individual with strong commitment toward delivering quality service.
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and mathematic skills with a desire to learn.
