Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)

THE ROLE

STRIVE is partnering with a leading consulting and advisory group specializing in corporate secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting services for both private and publicly listed companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Financial Reporting Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients and play a key role in a dynamic and growing team.

The Financial Reporting Manager will be working closely with management teams of publicly listed companies, offering strategic input and influencing key financial decisions. Theyll play a critical role in shaping the financial health of multiple businesses. The Financial Reporting Manager will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and coaching a team of Accountants supporting client engagements.

The client has an office based downtown and offers employees a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accounting and financial reporting needs are met
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, reviewing work and providing feedback
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting
  • Collaborate directly with the Director of Finance to manage deadlines and client expectations

What you bring:

  • CPA designation with 3-5 years of public accounting experience
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
