Role Summary

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual who is looking for a rewarding career. You are a self-motivated individual, with a curious mind and desire to learn a complex business. Your main responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute short-term and long-term plans for the products within your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Commercialization: Project manage all commercialization activities within your assigned category, to ensure all new product introductions and product modifications are delivered on time. Act as the interface for the Sales team to the organization, working with cross-functional team members to support category requirements.
  • Product Management: Manage product lifecycle for the assigned portfolio to ensure the assortment stays competitive across price, attributes, and mix.
  • Sales Enablement: Deliver sales enablement tools to support category growth, including customer presentations, sell sheets, product training, recipe development, etc.
  • Promotion: Drive category growth through targeted digital marketing, advertising, trade shows, and industry events. Create a marketing calendar and collaborate with our in-house design group where possible.
  • Data and Insights: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends/developments and competitive environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills

  • 3+ years' experience in Marketing, commercialization, or product management; CPG experience is considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to manage projects and workload effectively
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the business (written and oral)
  • Demonstrates strong thought leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to analyze research data and provide insights from those findings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
