We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our innovative global fintech company specializing in consumer lending. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a unified data architecture to support our loan management platforms and various data sources across our global operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop a comprehensive data architecture strategy for our unified loan management platform.
  • Create and maintain data models, schemas, and data flows to support our global operations.
  • Integrate diverse data sources, including Google Analytics, call center suites, and third-party lead management systems.
  • Implement data governance policies and ensure data quality across all systems.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders (including data scientists, analysts, and IT teams) to identify data opportunities, understand data needs, and align architecture with business requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate data management tools and technologies.
  • Oversee the design of data acquisition, integration, transformation, and quality processes.
  • Develop data ontologies and knowledge graphs to support advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Guide the implementation of data fabric and data mesh architectures as needed.
  • Monitor and optimize data performance, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and policies to support ongoing development and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role, with a focus on financial services and loan management systems
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and experience with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Expertise in ETL processes, data pipeline development, and data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Talend, Informatica)
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices, including data quality
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry
  • Proven experience in integrating diverse data sources, including Google Analytics and call center data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.
