The Anndore House is currently hiring a Night Audit Supervisor to join our dynamic team! Reporting to the Guest Services Manager or their designate the Night Audit Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of hotel operations during the night shift with direct responsibility for the supervision of the Front Office Department and will serve as the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) during working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivers exceptional guest experiences by ensuring that the Front Office Department is meeting, or exceeding service standards
  • Acts as a management representative on behalf of Guest Services Manager during the overnight shift
  • Acts as MOD and assists other departments where needed,when required as it aligns with hotel operational requirements
  • Evaluates the job performance of each night auditor and effectively communicates this with the Guest Services Manager
  • Maintains strong working relationships and communication with all departments
  • Manages emergency procedures during the overnight shift
  • Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated
  • Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Receives information from the previous shift MOD and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager
  • Oversee the night audit procedures and ensures reconciliation of all accounts and ledgers
  • Supervises end of month and end of year audit procedures; maintains all reports and ensures all tracking sheets are up to date and accurate
  • Ensures the implementation of all hotel policies and house rules
  • Operates all aspects of Front Office computer system, including overseeing overnight software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changes
  • Monitors all V.I.P 's special guests and requests
  • Participates in department meetings
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and team members

What We are Looking for...

  • A minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 2-year college degree and a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Experience working with Opera PMS an asset.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
