We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist-LCMS to join our growing team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform methods for analytical tests utilizing LC-MS triple Quad and HPLC. .
  • Analyze test samples utilizing appropriate test methods.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues on the test methods and instrumentation.
  • May assist in overseeing work conducted by Lab technician or assistants.
  • May assist in troubleshooting out of specification test results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a BS in chemistry or equivalent.
  • Experience performing analytical or chemical testing on Cannabis products. .
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in an analytical laboratory. 3+ years of experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of current Health Canada Cannabis methods and other industry standard methods and procedures.
  • Must be familiar with LC-MS/MS, and HPLC.
  • Computer literate. Ability to work with Microsoft programs such as word and excel, ability to utilize search engines, and create spreadsheets, etc.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changes to improve company process.
