Quality Engineer with UFTToronto, ONAutomation - Quality Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated tests for desktop applications and supported interfaces (File, MQ etc)
Work closely with the development team to understand the application functionality and design test cases.
Use automation tools and scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks.
Identify, analyze, and report issues found during testing.
Collaborate with the team to improve the overall testing process.
Document test cases, outcomes, and other relevant information.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Desktop Application Automation Engineer or similar role.
Experience with desktop based automation tools such as UFT, automation anywhere, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
