About the opportunity…
As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, while developing practical skills. Specifically:
- perform basic vehicale care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
- communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
- document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
- road tests vehicles, as required
About you…
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience performing vehicle maintenance, including:
- 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician
- Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain professionalism
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- a desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
