Class One Driver

Bowerman Construction is happy to offer an opportunity for a Class One Driver for ongoing projects in Port Alberni, BC. Responsibilities:

  • 5+ Years class 1 driving truck & pup
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety program.
  • Safely operate equipment in an industrial setting
  • Maintain detailed, accurate transportation documentation to accompany work performed
  • Complete daily equipment pre-trips and logs required for safety and service schedules

Requirements:

  • Ability to take and follow instruction
  • Professional demeanour when dealing with the public
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently when required
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Class 1 license – clean commercial abstract

Assets:

  • Recent working experience in similar role
  • First aid training

This position is compensated at an hourly rate. Employees are eligible for enrollment in our company benefits package following successful completion of a three-month probationary period.
