One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Millwright in Hawkesbury, ON region for their facility.

Shift - 12 hours Continental rotation

Par rate - $38/hr - $42/hr

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Assembly:

   • Install and assemble machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and drawings.

   • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.

   • Dismantle and reassemble machines to move them or for maintenance and repair.

2. Maintenance and Repair:

   • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

   • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.

   • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.

3. Troubleshooting:

   • Identify issues and conduct tests to ensure machinery is functioning correctly.

   • Use precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect machines and equipment.

4. Safety and Compliance:

   • Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.

   • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

   • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

5. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

   • Document and report any issues or deficiencies to the Maintenance Manager.

   • Prepare reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Interprovincial Industrial Mechanic certification-433A.

• Experience - Industrial Millwright: 5 years
