Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and assist with medical equipment as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Document and maintain accurate records of client care
• Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality standards

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program
• Valid PSW certification and/or relevant healthcare experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
• Ability to lift and assist with physical tasks as required
