Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Location: Alliston, Ontario
Job Description:Liaise with other departments on technical matters affecting design, costs, delivery and production related to electrical distribution system..
Conduct field installation supervision, commissioning and training as required
Assist maintenance group as required to troubleshoot field problems
Design and implement Electrical installations related to equipment install for small projects
Maintain project management integrity by following policies and procedures
Attend and coordinate meetings with design teams and contractors
Review drawings and documents for completeness prior to tender
University degree in a electrical engineering or College diploma in related discipline and equivalent related experience*
Project Leader experience with construction projects*
Ability to perform a risk assessment
OH&S regulation/legislation/codes knowledge, both industrial and construction applications such as Building code, ESA, CSA, IEEE etc*
Strong Powerpoint, MS Office skills*
Project leader training
Confined space, ignition source and Construction Safety experience
ESA, CSA and related Ontario building codes.
13.8kv to 480v Electrical distribution system, sub stations, VFDs, PLC etc.
Strong communication skills
